Welcome to the heart of IGNITING MINDS, where our journey began with a profound moment of awakening. It was December 2022 when the seeds of our nonprofit organization were sown, sparked by a devastating tragedy. Witnessing two young souls from the same family take their own lives within the span of two weeks shook us to our core. Their loss, driven by the belief that life was insufferable, ignited a deep sense of purpose within us.

But the call to action didn’t end there. As the floods ravaged the KwaZulu-Natal region and the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe, we witnessed firsthand the immense fear and anxiety gripping communities. Fueled by a desire to make a difference, we embarked on a journey of resilience.

From humble beginnings hosting virtual workshops on Sundays, despite the challenges of constant power outages, to our official registration as a nonprofit organization in January 2024, our vision has only grown stronger. With unwavering dedication and the support of our partners and sponsors worldwide, IGNITING MINDS stands poised to transcend boundaries.

Ouedraogo Adams Billy (Salam)

An avid spiritual student and chairperson@IGNITING MINDS, Adams is an internationally trained consciousness coach ®. Modern Stress Management professional ; EFT Master ; Star Matrix , basic hypnotherapy practitioner and the three principles apprentice practitioner. Billy finds great joy and fulfilment whenever he engages in a transformational conversation with another!

Justin Fuhri

CEO@ IGNITING MINDS-NPO and as an architectural technologist by profession, Justin believes in not only designing physical spaces but also nurturing mental spaces. Driven by the vision of a world where support is offered willingly and compassionately, he channels his expertise and empathy into this non-profit organization dedicated to reaching out to individuals grappling with life’s stresses. Through this initiative, Justin aims to foster resilience, provide guidance, and offer a safe space for individuals seeking solace and assistance.
